We have Class-C registered CHS in the state of Maharashtra (having 330 members), had proper election in 2017 and elected 17 members. Now out of 17 only nine members are regularly attending meetings and 7 members expelled by MC due to failing to attend MC meetings more than 3 in row.
MC wants to co-opt the rest of the members total 8, is it possible to co-opt members?
and if yes then what is the procedure.

Yes. MC can co-opt to make up full strength where it’s half tenure still remains. That is after 2.5 years of last election.
