I am Mrs Deki Choden from Bhutan, working in a Government office called National Dairy Development Centre under Department of Livestock, Ministry of Agriculture and Forest. I work specifically for Dairy farmers group and Cooperatives.
We have numerous Dairy Farmers Group functioning at different stage and capacity but now planning to bring those groups under one cooperative at district level. For this I am asked to find out ” how dairy cooperatives function”. While I was looking for information I came across this mail add so thought of soliciting some reference/information from you owing to the fact that Dairy Cooperatives are doing very well in your country.
I am not formally trained in this particular field therefore I have to gather knowledge from everywhere. I hope you will kindly help me, by detailing me how a dairy cooperative should function, roles and responsibilities, management structure, financial aspects etc.
