I have some query related to compulsion of bank account opening. Is it compulsory to open a bank account to cash a cheque got from cooperative bank on wheat selling? They are not allowing us to submit the cheque, in a bank where my account is already opened.

You deposit the cheque and if it is not paid then file complaint to consumer forum for bank not providing service to its customer.
