Debapam Ray Chaudhuri

I am living at CIT Employees Co-op soc. ltd.( Flat AIII/2, 34, Bagmari Road, Kol-54, ground floor) have lost my parents & living with octogenarian grandmother. Ceiling condition of one room & bathroom are damaged due to A.C. leakage & pipeline.

Though intimated to the concerned secretary of society as well as to the concerned resident for several times verbally & officially, remittance is yet to be received. In recent past, I made repair work with no positive effect ruining the present situation for habitation. I am seeking your kind advice in this regard.

I C Naik

Co-operative Societies are held to be service providers to its members. The Consumer Protection Act 1986 provides for filing a complaint for deficiency in service by C H S. So file a complaint with the district consumer Forum. You can file complaints on line. There are many web-sites helping citizens in ths matter. There are quite a few. Try this one.
