According to media reports, Sandeep Desia as a candidate from Choryasi figures in the second list of candidates released by the BJP for the assembly elections in Gujarat. Desai’s selection is based on his strong co-op connection in the area.
Desai has replaced the sitting BJP MLA.
It is said Sandeep Desai is popular in the area due to his strong ties with various local cooperative bodies including cooperative bank and APMC.
Incidentally, 89 seats will go to the polls on December 1.
