The Cooperative banking sector is set to witness a major leadership transition as Vishram Dattatraya Dixit, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nasik Merchants Co-operative Bank Ltd. (NAMCO Bank), has received approval to take charge as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Dombivli Nagri Sahakari Bank Ltd. (DNS Bank).
He will officially assume office on 15th December 2025.
Mr. Dixit is widely respected for his expertise in banking governance, regulatory compliance, and legal documentation, along with his strong emphasis on institutional transparency.
Under his leadership, NAMCO Bank witnessed exceptional growth. The bank’s business expanded from Rs 2,457 crore to Rs 3,930 crore within just four years, while annual profitability rose significantly from Rs 19 crore to Rs 41.80 crore.
This progress was driven by his strategic focus on “Governance with Growth,” a philosophy that has defined his working style and leadership approach.
