The Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Rohtak has suspended Rajveer, Vice Chairman and Director of the Jhajjar Central Co-operative Bank Ltd., pending inquiry proceedings initiated under Section 35 of the Haryana Cooperative Societies Act, 1984.
As per the official order issued, a show-cause notice had earlier been served to Rajveer regarding his proposed removal from the bank’s Board of Directors. He has been asked to submit his written response by June 16, 2026.
The suspension was ordered under Section 35(2) of the Act to ensure a fair and impartial inquiry during the pendency of the proceedings. Authorities stated that continuation in office during the inquiry could potentially influence the process.
The order has also been forwarded to the Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Haryana and the General Manager of the bank for necessary compliance. Officials have not publicly disclosed the specific allegations linked to the proceedings, and the matter remains under inquiry.
