Vasai Vikas Sah Bank: Six directors elected unopposed

The elections to the board of directors of Maharashtra based Vasai Vikas Sahakari Bank are going on and six directors have been elected unopposed and the election will be held for 11 seats on 24th July 2022.

The bank’s board consists of 17 directors out of which 12 are from the general category and five from the reserved category including OBC, Women, SC/ST and Denotified & Nomadic Tribes.

Out of 12 directors from the general category two have been elected unopposed whereas from five the reserved category, four have been elected unanimously.

More than 21,000 voters are eligible to cast their votes in the elections and 31 booths will be set up. Digambar Hossare has been appointed as the returning officer to oversee the elections.
