The newly built administrative office of Surat (Gujarat) based Varachha Cooperative Bank was jointly inaugurated by NCUI Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani, RBI Central Board Director Satish Marathe, Nafcub Chairman Jyotindra Mehta and others last Sunday.
Though some Gujarat cabinet ministers had also agreed to become a part of the inauguration ceremony, due to the Odisha Balasore Train Accident they could not attend the event.
The newly built office is a 7-storey building and equipped with all the modern facilities including a Gym, library and others. Now, all the departments of the bank have come under one roof.
The cost of the new built office is around Rs 20 crore. The bank has 26 branches across Gujarat and has a business mix of more than Rs 4700 crore.
