Vamnicom to train women self-help groups

For the first time an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission, (MSRLM) Mumbai and Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management (VAMNICOM), Pune recently.

Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management (VAMNICOM), Pune has signed an ambitious MoU to prepare training modules & conduct training’s programmes for women Self Help Groups and their Cluster Level Federations.

The MoU was signed between Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission, (MSRLM) Mumbai and (VAMNICOM recently. While R. Vimla, CEO of MSRLM represented the other side, K K Tripathi, Director represented VAMNICOM

Those present on the occasion included D.V.Deshpande and Sagar Wadkar from VAMNICOM and Rajeev Bobade and his team from MSRLM.

“The Project is also expected to build capacity of women SHG in the State of Maharashtra and thus help in women empowerment”, claimed a press release mailed by Vamnicom.
