VAMNICOM observes Anti-Ragging Day

Pune-based VAMNICOM observed Anti-Ragging Day with the active participation of students from the PGDM-Agri Business Management (PGDM-ABM) programme on Tuesday.

The initiative aimed to promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus environment while reinforcing the institute’s commitment to a ragging-free academic culture.

The event was inaugurated with an address by Prof. Shantanu Ghosh, Registrar, who spoke on the importance of fostering mutual respect, empathy, and camaraderie among students.

The programme was attended by prominent faculty members, including Dr. D. Ravi, Programme Joint Coordinator; Dr. Mahesh Kadam, Associate Professor; Dr. Amit Borkar, Assistant Professor; Dr. Rushikesh Kalamkar, Assistant Professor; Ashok Suyal, Assistant Registrar; and Vaibhav Bodke, Research Officer, along with other faculty and administrative staff.

The session concluded with an open interaction where students shared their perspectives on creating a positive campus atmosphere. VAMNICOM reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and its ongoing commitment to student welfare.
