Uttarakhand’s milk unions contribute to CM Fund

Uttarakhand based several milk unions have made a contribution of Rs 52,40,260 towards the Chief Minister Relief fund to combat the Covid 19 pandemic.

On behalf of the milk unions, the cheque was handed over by Uttarakhand State Cooperative Minister Dhan Singh Rawat to State Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Tuesday.

Sharing the news through social media, the cooperative minister wrote about the development on his Facebook wall, “Today, handed over a cheque of Rs 52,40,260 to Honorable Chief Minister towards the ‘Chief Minister’s Relief Fund’ on behalf of the Uttarakhand Dairy Unions”

Besides, he also shared the list of unions spread in different districts of the state making contributions to the relief fund. “The cooperation made by all of you at the time of this pandemic is very commendable, I assure you that every rupee will be spent to deal with the corona epidemic and to help the needy, ” the Minister further wrote on his Facebook wall.

Later on, the Minister addressed a meeting of representatives of the dairy unions at its chamber in the state legislative assembly.
