Media reports say Amul will invest Rs 2,500 crore in Uttar Pradesh (UP) over the next few years. Speaking at a summit focused on Uttar Pradesh, Amul director Dr RS Sodhi revealed that the dairy cooperative will create jobs and help in ramping up dairy production through its substantial investment in Uttar Pradesh.
According to the Amul Managing Director, the next 10 years will witness milk production rising up to 300 million litres, against the current 110 million litres in the state.
Sources say the UP govt will extend all possible help to Amul.
