UP State Co-op Bank’s Ex-Chairman arrested

Uttar Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Former’s Chairman Dhirendra Kumar Verma was arrested by the police on Saturday in an old case registered in 2006.

He was also the Chairman of Barabanki District Cooperative Bank and in the wake of the last legislative elections of Uttar Pradesh, he joined the BJP.

The case against Verma was filed 18 years ago by Rajesh Kumar Verma, then Basic Education Officer.

At that time, he was posted as a teacher in Para Kunwar Primary School. The then Basic Education Officer had filed a case against Dhirendra Verma at the Satrikh police station on charges of embezzling money by building a school without standards.
