In a significant step towards strengthening cooperative entrepreneurship, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Tuesday, at the Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RICM), Chandigarh.
The agreement was executed between RICM and Unati Agri Micro Management Multi State Cooperative Ltd (UAMMCL) for the establishment and operation of the Regional Institute of Cooperative Management, Unnati Cooperative Entrepreneurship Development & Incubation Centre (RU-CEIC).
The proposed incubation centre will act as a hub to nurture new cooperative ventures and empower aspiring entrepreneurs.
RU-CEIC is expected to play a key role in developing a robust cooperative startup ecosystem by offering structured training, mentoring, and business support services.
