In a significant step towards strengthening industry-academia collaboration, the Uralungal Labour Contract Co-operative Society (ULCCS) Group signed three separate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut.

The agreements were executed by ULCCS, its technology arm ULTS, and its advanced testing laboratory MatterLab.

The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by promoting joint research, innovation, skill development, internships and technology transfer.

The partnership will also facilitate knowledge sharing, faculty-industry interaction and the development of practical solutions to address emerging challenges in infrastructure, digital technology and materials testing.

The initiative is expected to create new opportunities for students, researchers and professionals while enhancing the innovation ecosystem in the cooperative sector.
