The Uttarakhand Cooperative Federation Ltd. inaugurated a newly constructed resort and restaurant at Ratura on Thursday, marking a significant step towards promoting tourism through cooperative initiatives.
State Cooperation Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat joined the inauguration ceremony virtually, while Gangotri MLA Suresh Singh Chauhan was present at the event.
The initiative is expected to give a fresh boost to tourism activities in the region while creating new employment and self-employment opportunities for local residents.
The resort and restaurant will also provide improved hospitality facilities to tourists and local visitors, strengthening the area’s tourism infrastructure.
The project highlights the Uttarakhand Cooperative Federation’s efforts to expand the role of cooperatives beyond traditional activities and contribute to local economic development through tourism-related ventures.
