Trifed Chairman for tribal co-op products in railways

The newly elected Chairman of Trifed Ramsinh Rathwa met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and urged him to buy paintings and goods being made by tribal communities so that they can be used in the Indian railways.

Soon after the meeting, the news was shared by Rathwa through his Facebook wall.

He wrote, “Today at Delhi Rail Bhawan met @AshwiniVaishnaw Hon’ble Railway Minister, Government of India and requested that the goods and paintings being made by the tribal brothers should be bought by the railways and used in one way or the other in the railways.

Trifed has a network of 14 regional offices across the country that identify and source tribal products for marketing through the marketing network of 73 TRIBES INDIA outlets.
