Senior BJP leader Dr. Vivek Kumar Singh Tomar has been elected Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Gram Vikas Bank Ltd., while Ravindra Singh Rathore has been elected Vice Chairman.
Dr. Tomar will now head the apex cooperative institution that provides long-term credit support to the rural sector in Uttar Pradesh. His election is expected to further strengthen the bank’s leadership.
Rathore, a senior BJP leader from Bareilly, has been elevated from Director to Vice Chairman of the bank. He is a former BJP Bareilly District President and former Chairperson of Nawabganj Municipality.
The new leadership is expected to focus on strengthening rural credit delivery, improving institutional governance, and enhancing financial support for agriculture and allied sectors across the state.
