Police say criminals have looted Rs 3 crore worth jewels from the Venmani primary agricultural cooperative bank after murdering an official and injuring another person at Keezhavenmani village in Nagapattinam district in Tamil Nadu, reports a news outlet.
Police add criminals also took away about Rs 4 lakh cash.
A special police team has been formed to nab the culprits, police official say.
