Commercial crime wing of the Tamil Nadu police has arrested Nagarajan former secretary of Primary Agricultural Cooperative at Gandhigram. Mr. Nagarajan was the secretary of the bank in 2012-13, reports the Hindu.
Police say Mr. Nagrajan did not put the money paid by jewel loans borrowers into the bank account and his financial shenanigans cost the bank a loss of about Rs. 5 lakh.
Acting on a complaint lodged by Dindigul District Cooperative Societies’ Registrar Maran, the police registered a complaint and arrested him.
