Terror Charges: Co-op officials dismissed in J&K

Media reports say J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha ordered dismissal of five employees including a manager at the Baramulla cooperative bank for their “involvement in anti-national activities.

Article 311 of the Constitution provides for dismissal of a person employed in civil capacities under union or a state.

The activities of these employees had come to the adverse notice of law enforcement and intelligence agencies. NIA is carrying out the investigation in the case.
