Tejveer connects Antyodaya with co-ops

Uttar Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Chairman Tejveer Singh inaugurated the newly constructed branch of Mathura Zilla Sahakari Bank last week.

While inaugurating the new branch near Anaj Mandi in Mathura, Singh said the basic objective of cooperatives was to strengthen the weaker sections of society. Cooperation was the means to actualize the Antyodaya ideology of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

“Co-ops are giving loans to the farmers at the reduced rate of interest. This is the era of competition. We have decided to strengthen PACCs”, he added.

District Cooperative Bank Limited Chairman Meghshyam Singh said there was an old branch in Pathar Pura, where people faced problems but now the new branch would be beneficial for the customers.

Amit Kumar, Sultan Singh, Ramkishan Pathak, Shyam Singh, Tejpal Singh and others were present on the occasion.
