Sugar Co-op: Junior Thackeray inaugurates Ethanol plant

Maharashtra Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray inaugurated the Ethanol and Distillery project of Ahmednagar based Mula Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Limited (MSSKL) in the presence of Shankarrao Gadakh Patil, Minister of Soil last week.

Soon after the inauguration, Junior Thackeray took to social media to share the news with his followers. He wrote, ” Minister Shankarao Gadakh, along with Hon’ble Yashwantrao Gadakh, Founder of Mula Udyog Group, inaugurated the Ethanol and Distillery Project of Mula Co-operative Sugar Factory at Nagar”.

The sugar mill has a crushing capacity of around 5,000 tonnes crushing per day (TCD) and more than 17,000 cane-producing members. It has 87 villages under its command area.

In FY2020, the mill has reported revenues of Rs 264.51 crore on a provisional basis, claimed ICRA reports.
