Mohit Maski and Muralidhar Reddy have been elected unopposed as the Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively of Karnataka’s leading SUCO Souharda Sahakari Bank in an election held this week.
The election to the Board was conducted following the completion of the previous Board’s tenure, and all directors were elected unopposed in accordance with the notified election schedule.
This time, the Board of SUCO Souharda Sahakari Bank has taken a distinctly professional character, with a strong blend of administrative, financial and sectoral expertise. Notably, G. N. Shivamurthy, a retired IAS officer, has been elected as one of the Directors, adding significant governance and public administration experience to the Board.
Further strengthening the professional profile of the Board, Smt. Vasanti Sagar, a retired Manager of the Reserve Bank of India, has been appointed as a Professional Director. The Board has also appointed Rajasekhar, a practising Chartered Accountant, as a Professional Director.
The newly constituted Board includes members with expertise in banking, MSMEs, agriculture, information technology, finance and rural economy, reflecting the Bank’s focus on professional management and institutional strengthening for the 2026–31 term.
