A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Pankaj Bansal, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation to discuss the progress of key initiatives taken by the Ministry of Cooperation. The meeting was attended by the officials from 8 States/UTs.
It bears recall that the Ministry has initiated more than 54 new schemes in order to strengthen the cooperative movement in the country. Revitalization of PACS occupy the top priority.
Co-op being a state subject, it is imperative on the part of union to take them onboard to have real changes at the grass root level.
