South Canara DCCB earns a profit of Rs 34 cr

Talking to journalists, Karnataka based South Canara District Central Cooperative Bank Chairman M.N. Rajendra Kumar revealed that his bank had made a profit of Rs. 33.65 crore in the fiscal 2020-21, reports Hindu.

The bank’s total deposits for 2020-21 was ?4,948.34 crore which was 17.65% more than deposits received in 2019-20. The total advances in 2020-21 was Rs 3,712.67 crore of which Rs 1,596.04 crore was for short-term loans given in the agriculture sector.

As many as 1.19 lakh farmers have been given RuPay Kisan Cards. The bank has 105 branches. The bank’s Vice-President Vinay Kumar Soorinje and Chief Executive Officer Ravindra B. were present on the occasion.
