On the occasion of ‘International Yoga Day’, the Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd., arranged a special Yoga programme for junior employees of 7 days basic banking certificate course at Regional Institute of Cooperative Management, at Padmanabhanagar, Bangalore.
Dr. Harish, the yoga teacher guided the staff through Yoga sessions. She gave demonstrations of Asanas and gave information about their importance.
Sharanagouda G Patil, Managing Director, narrated the importance of the yoga day, yoga for health, yoga for good presence of mind. He narrated the pledge of yoga as per the direction of Ayush ministry “I Pledge to make yoga an Integral part of my Daily life”.
Dr. Ravichandran, Deputy Director of RICM, said that the international yoga day is very important for every human being. India is the country which gave yoga to the whole world. Today in the whole world yoga is being practiced for their good health and well-being.
Everyone must practice yoga not only today they should practice in their daily life. V J Karkun, Training officer, KSSFCL is present on this occasion. Staff participated in large numbers in this Yoga Day programme.
