Santosh Shukla, an official from IFFCO, was invited by the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of Kerala, as a speaker at the Cooperative Expo 2025 held at Kanakakkunnu Palace, Thiruvananthapuram.
Sharing the stage with distinguished leaders like Public Education and Labour Minister Shri V Sivankutty, MLA and Chairperson Shri Kadakampally Surendran, and Planning Board member Shri Ravi Raman, Shukla discussed strengthening Kerala’s cooperative structure.
He highlighted IFFCO’s successful cooperative model, which has consistently delivered 20% dividends to members for over 23 years. In his presentation, Shukla explored “Cooperative vs Corporate: A Democratic Alternative” and showcased IFFCO’s innovation in nano fertilizers for sustainable agriculture.
The Expo featured a vibrant exhibition of cooperative sectors including agriculture, credit, healthcare, housing, and labour. Exhibitors enthusiastically shared their products and services, with Shukla suggesting ways to enhance digital marketing and service outreach.
He also visited ULCCS’s Craft Village, appreciating its strong governance and support for artisans and craft workers.
