Shri Venkatesh Multi Co-op Credit Society distributes groceries

In the current situation, Maharashtra based Shri Venkatesh Multistate Cooperative Credit Society is also active at ground zero and providing the grocery item kits to the needy in several districts of state.

Sharing the news with Indian Cooperative the society Chairman Abhinath Shinde said, “So far our society has distributed the grocery item packets to the needy in three districts of Maharashtra including Ahmednagar, Aurangabad and Jalna district. The packets have been distributed among 500 needy people”, he informed.

“The Society has distributed the kits containing rice, edible oil, groundnut, salt, gram flour worth Rs 2 lakh. Besides, we are helping the needy in all best possible ways”, he added.

549 new coronavirus cases were reported on Apr 22 in Maharashtra, according to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This brings the total reported cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra to 5,218.
