Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has welcomed the formation of the Drowa Zangmo Cooperative Society, created by representatives of 71 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) from Tawang Block and 45 SHGs from Kitpi Block.
Calling it a model of grassroots transformation, Khandu said the initiative reflects the kind of progress the state seeks to promote, where SHGs evolve into cooperatives to generate larger economic opportunities, strengthen livelihoods, and foster self-reliance.
The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to all members of the newly formed cooperative and expressed hope that the society would inspire more communities across Arunachal Pradesh to embrace the cooperative movement for inclusive and sustainable development.
