IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani held discussions with Uttarakhand Cooperation Minister Dhansingh Rawat at IFFCO headquarters in New Delhi on strengthening the cooperative sector in the hill state and enhancing farmer welfare.

According to Sanghani, the meeting focused on measures to empower cooperative institutions, improve services for farmers and further advance the vision of “Prosperity through Cooperation.” The two sides also exchanged views on expanding the role of cooperatives in rural development and improving economic opportunities for farming communities.

Sanghani said the discussions were aimed at making the cooperative movement more effective and inclusive, in line with the Centre’s emphasis on cooperative-led growth. The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between state governments and cooperative organisations in achieving sustainable agricultural and rural development.

IFFCO Managing Director K.J. Patel was also present during the meeting.
