Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah will on October 3 participate in the Gopalak Sammelan in Bhopal, where he will launch and inaugurate several dairy and cooperative-sector projects.
Shah will digitally lay the foundation stone for a 3 lakh litres per day milk processing plant in Ujjain, costing Rs 255 crore. He will also inaugurate a 40,000-litre-per-day Product Dairy Plant in Bhopal, built at Rs 16.5 crore, besides a state-level central laboratory costing Rs 12.42 crore. Strengthening works of the Mini Dairy Plant in Shivpuri, costing Rs 6.5 crore, will also be inaugurated.
Bonuses will be distributed to members of the Bhopal and Indore Milk Unions, while Rs 15.10 crore in dividends will go to Dairy Cooperative Society members. Financial assistance will be provided to gaushalas, while Gopalak Didis will be felicitated.
Shah will also inaugurate a State-Level Exhibition on Nyaya Sanhita and witness an MoU exchange between KRIBHCO and the Madhya Pradesh State Biodiversity Board for an urban forest under the Morvan Project.
Meanwhile, Shah will visit Telangana on October 4 to lay the foundation stone for the Sabar Dairy Project in Medak and inaugurate Amul’s first modern dairy plant in the state. He will also attend the silver jubilee celebrations of Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences in Karimnagar and lay the foundation stone for Prathima Deemed University.
