Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the new vegetable sub-yard during the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) at Dahegam in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar district on July 13.
The event is part of the Centre’s efforts to modernise agricultural marketing, strengthen the rural economy and enhance farmers’ prosperity under the vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi.”
During the programme, Shah will also participate in the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign by planting a sapling and will release a commemorative publication marking the APMC’s Amrit Mahotsav.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Dahegam APMC Chairman Sumeru Amin, cooperative leaders, APMC members and several other dignitaries are expected to attend the function.
