Sangli DCCB marks centenary with grand Agri Expo

Maharashtra based Sangli District Central Cooperative Bank celebrated its centenary with a grand agricultural exhibition and a women’s self-help group (SHG) convention at Dhananjay Garden in Sangli.

The event highlighted the enduring strength of the cooperative movement and its role in rural transformation.

Addressing the gathering, dignitaries expressed confidence that such initiatives would further strengthen cooperative traditions and accelerate the socio-economic development of farmers and women. The exhibition showcased modern agricultural practices, innovations, and opportunities for rural entrepreneurship, drawing participation from across the district.

Prominent leaders present included Jayant Patil, Vishal Patil, and Vishwajeet Kadam, along with senior officials and directors of the bank.

Bank Chairman Manasingrao Naik and CEO Shivajirao Wagh, along with several board members and local representatives, were also in attendance.

A large number of farmers, SHG members, and cooperative stakeholders participated enthusiastically, making the centenary celebration a significant milestone for the region’s cooperative sector.
