IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani said that senior officials of the cooperative fertilizer major held detailed discussions with authorities at Kisan International Trading (KIT) in Dubai to ensure the uninterrupted and timely availability of fertilizers for Indian farmers amid the evolving situation in the Hormuz region.

In a post on social media during his visit to Dubai, Sanghani said the discussions focused on maintaining a stable fertilizer supply chain and addressing potential logistical challenges that could arise due to regional developments. He emphasized that safeguarding fertilizer availability remains a key priority for IFFCO in order to support agricultural operations across the country.

The chairman reiterated IFFCO’s commitment to farmers, stating that the cooperative is taking all necessary steps to ensure that fertilizer supplies remain unaffected and reach farmers on time. The engagement with KIT forms part of IFFCO’s broader efforts to monitor global supply conditions and strengthen coordination with international partners.

IFFCO, one of India’s largest fertilizer cooperatives, plays a crucial role in meeting the nutrient requirements of millions of farmers nationwide.
