A proud moment for India’s agriculture and cooperative sector, as Dileep Sanghani, Chairman of IFFCO, was honoured with the prestigious NAAS Industrist Award during the Foundation Day and 33rd Annual General Meeting of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences on June 5, 2026.
As Sanghani was on an official visit to the United States, the award was received on his behalf by Jayantibhai Pansuriya.
The award recognises Sanghani’s visionary leadership and significant contribution to agriculture, cooperation and farmer empowerment. Under his leadership, the cooperative movement and Indian agriculture have gained fresh momentum and direction.
The achievement has been widely hailed as a major honour for the country’s cooperative sector and farming community.
