Sanghani leads IFFCO Dialogue with Nepal delegation

A delegation from Nepal’s cooperative sector visited the headquarters of IFFCO in New Delhi as part of a “Sahakari Pravas,” marking a meaningful step towards strengthening India–Nepal cooperative collaboration.

The delegation was warmly received by IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani, who engaged in a constructive dialogue on expanding cooperative partnerships.

Discussions focused on the deep-rooted cultural and economic ties between India and Nepal, while highlighting the success of India’s cooperative model, particularly institutions like IFFCO and Amul. The exchange also explored opportunities to empower farmers and rural communities through cooperative frameworks.

A key highlight was the emphasis on Nepal’s potential in natural resources, including scope for generating employment through natural food products and medicinal value chains. IFFCO extended its support to the Nepal Cooperative Federation for collaboration across multiple cooperative sectors.

Prominent participants included Tej Prasad, Director, National Cooperative Federation Nepal; Rashmi Gyawali; Geeta Sanghani; and Ramesh Kumar, along with other distinguished representatives.
