A state-level Women’s Cooperative Conference was held on Sunday in Bhilai, Durg district of Chhattisgarh, organized by Sahakar Bharati at the premises of Brahma Kumaris.
The event brought together women leaders, cooperative members, and stakeholders to deliberate on strengthening women’s participation in the cooperative sector.
Sharing details on social media, Laxmi Rajwade highlighted that the conference focused on key themes such as economic self-reliance of women, empowerment through cooperatives, and promoting leadership among women.
Discussions emphasized enhancing the capacity of women’s groups and connecting them with employment and entrepreneurial opportunities across the state.
Prominent attendees included MLA Rakesh Sen, Satyendra Sharma, Ashok Diwan, Kaniram, Revati Tai Shendurnikar, and Rajni Baghel, along with senior representatives of the Brahma Kumaris.
The conference was described as a significant step toward advancing women’s empowerment and strengthening their role in society.
