A state-level exhibition-cum-sale fair, “Vision Expo”, organised by Sahakar Bharati, was inaugurated with great enthusiasm, highlighting women’s entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
The initiative was lauded as a powerful platform that provides free stalls to women, enabling them to showcase their skills and access markets. Described as more than just an exhibition, the event celebrates the spirit of determination, dignity, and economic independence among women.
Organisers noted that since 1978, Sahakar Bharati has been promoting cooperative values such as ethics, transparency, and social commitment, with a presence in over 400 districts across India. The Vision Expo reflects its continued focus on grassroots empowerment and taking local talent to global platforms.
Key organisers including Kiran Karmarkar, Santosh Gaikwad, and Nana Waghmode were appreciated for their efforts, along with several women office-bearers.
The event was attended by prominent dignitaries including Mayor Vinayak Kondyal, former MLA Dilip Mane, and other local leaders, marking strong community support for women-led initiatives.
