Senior leaders of Sahakar Bharati called on former IFFCO Managing Director Dr U.S. Awasthi at his residence and honoured him with a commemorative memento marking the 100th anniversary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Sharing the development on social media, Dr Awasthi said the delegation included Sahakar Bharati President Uday Joshi, senior functionary Satish Marathe, and Dinanath Thakur. The leaders presented him with the memento as part of the centenary celebrations of the RSS.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr Awasthi described the honour as a matter of immense pride and said he was deeply touched by the affection and respect shown by the visiting delegation. He thanked the Sahakar Bharati leaders for their warm gesture and conveyed his heartfelt appreciation for their goodwill.
The meeting highlighted the close association between senior leaders of the cooperative movement and Sahakar Bharati, which works to promote cooperative values and strengthen cooperative institutions across the country.
