Rupala comes out as a great votary of Nano Urea

While addressing the valedictory event of the 17th Indian Cooperative Congress as the guest of honour at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, Union Minister of Fisheries & Animal Husbandry Parshottam Rupala asked cooperators to spread awareness about the IFFCO Nano Urea which is not only soil friendly but also helpful for the farmers of the country.

“The only cooperative in the world, IFFCO invented the Nano Urea which makes India Proud. We are very thankful to IFFCO Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani and its Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi for this achievement”, said Rupala in his speech.

He further added, the Nano Urea would not only save the foreign exchange but also enhance the productivity of farmers. The one bag of urea cost is around Rs 2200 per bag but by giving the subsidy the government makes it available to farmers at Rs 268 per bag. The Nano Urea requires no subsidy and will save huge money of the government, if the farmers successfully adopt it, Rupala asserted.

“There is a need to create an awareness among the farmers about the Nano Urea”, he said. In his speech, he reiterated the idea of adopting five villages and converting their farms into chemical free land.

The Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla, was the chief guest on this occasion. The country’s cooperators from Kashmir to Kanyakumari attended the valedictory event with full enthusiasm.
