Institute of Rural Management Anand in collaboration with Tribhuvan Sahkari University has commenced a five-day Management Development Programme (MDP) on “General Management of FPOs” for master trainers and internal staff of Friends of Women’s World Banking India from April 20–24, 2026.

The programme is designed to strengthen Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) by equipping participants with practical knowledge in marketing, finance, governance, and business planning. It combines classroom sessions with field exposure to ensure hands-on learning and real-world insights.

Coordinated by Akshay Aggarwal, with Prem Vaswani as Co-Coordinator, the programme features sessions by leading faculty including Saswata Narayan Biswas and other domain experts.

The initiative reflects IRMA-TSU’s continued focus on building institutional capacity within the cooperative and FPO ecosystem. By enhancing managerial capabilities, the programme aims to support the growth of resilient, sustainable, and farmer-led organisations across the country.
