RBI assigns IFSC code to Model Co-op Bank; Management upbeat

In a remarkable development, Model Co-operative Bank launched its own IFSC code aimed at facilitating 24X7 credits into their customers’ account and faster processing of transactions.

The IFSC code assigned by RBI to the UCB would help it provide the best banking experiences to its customers with Professional, Quick and Efficient customer service, claimed a release from the Bank.

In view of various restrictions during Covid 19, the Bank had an ‘On-line’ launch of the IFSC code at its administrative office at Kalina, Mumbai and live streamed to the customers of the Bank.

Addressing the viewers and participants on the occasion Albert W. D’Souza- Chairman of the bank traced the history of the Bank since it’s inception as a Credit Society 104 years ago. Over 200 customers including top functionaries of the bank attended the event.

The IFSC code assigned to the UCB is MDBK0000xxx (where xxx varies depending on the Branch), reads the release. “Given the bank has operationalized the service during the corona pandemic shows the determination and commitment of the bank towards it’s customers. It is a measure of the bank’s creditable performance that it has received 11 awards in the last 5 years”, say its officials.
