In a significant development in the cooperative sector of Manglaur in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, all posts in the election of Sahkari Sangh Ltd. were filled unopposed, with Vikas Chauhan elected as Chairman and Monika becoming Vice-Chairperson.
The election process for the management committee concluded peacefully on Saturday. The 13-member board, including one director nominated by the state government, witnessed unanimous elections across all categories.
For the four posts of District Cooperative Bank representatives, Tina Devi, Nishu Rathi, Bharti Devi and Sushil Rathi were elected unopposed. Neha and Masroor were elected as representatives to the District Cooperative Union.
Elections to posts linked with the Wholesale Central Consumer Store and Cooperative Purchase-Sale Committee were also completed unanimously.
The election witnessed the presence of several senior BJP leaders and local representatives along with hundreds of party workers and supporters.
