In a bid to give relief to farmers, Rajasthan State Cooperative Bank has extended the last date for repayment of Rabi season outstanding interest free loans from cooperative banks till 30th June 2024.
The extension of the date will help the farmers in a big way.
According to the figures available, around 94.87 thousand farmers failed to repay the outstanding loans worth Rs 635 crore of Rabi Season till 31st March 2024. Due to non-repayment of loans farmers became defaulters.
The maximum outstanding loan is from Barmer district i.e. Rs 212.21 crore and lowest from Bundi district i.e. Rs 1.15 crore.
