Rajasthan Cooperation State Minister Gautam Kumar Dak inaugurated a new call centre at the premises of the Rajasthan Apex Cooperative Bank to help farmers and livestock rearers resolve issues related to various government cooperative schemes.
Minister Dak said the RBI and NABARD have advised cooperative banks to establish call centres with toll-free incoming telephone facilities for addressing customer complaints.
The new initiative by the Cooperation Department will provide assistance regarding the Cooperative Gopal Credit Card Scheme, Crop Loan Scheme and Raj Sahakar Personal Accident Insurance Scheme.
Farmers and livestock rearers can use the call centre to raise difficulties faced while availing benefits under these schemes and seek their resolution, the Minister said.
