Deputy Registrar of the Cooperative Society, Gurdaspur, Bhupinder Singh, was suspended for allegedly seeking a bribe, reports The Tribune.
Cooperation Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said this through a press note.
The suspension came after allegations of bribery by secretary of the Athwal Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society Heera Singh in a signed affidavit.
