Punjab Co-op Minister in Odisha to study core-banking

Punjab Cooperation Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa accompanied by several cooperative functionaries are currently in Odisha acquainting themselves with the activities of primary cooperative credit structures (PACS), reports New Indian Express.

The officials accompanying the minister are Registrar of Cooperative Societies Vikash Garg, Managing Director of Punjab State Cooperative Bank S K Batish and some senior bank officials.

Though OCB is itself in thick of controversies, the main aim of the Punjab team is to study the application of digital technologies in the cooperative sector in the state.
