Union Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu will inaugurate a new building as an addition to Campco’s chocolate factory in Puttur of Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka on Sunday that is today.
Addressing media persons the Campco president Satishchandra said the new building will be inaugurated, the foundation stone for a master godown for arecanut, pepper and rubber will be also laid at Kavu in Puttur taluk of the district.
To be built at a cost of Rs. 19 crore, the godown will cover 1 lakh sq ft and it will be completed in two years. A bust of the late Varanashi Subraya Bhat, founder-president of Campco would also be unveiled.
